Brent Freeman is a visionary speaker, entrepreneur, and author dedicated to transforming the business world while making a significant social impact. He has committed his life to harnessing the power of business as a force for social good. In 2009, he founded Roozt.com, the world's first and largest online marketplace for socially conscious consumer brands, which gained widespread media attention all across the United States. For his pioneering work in the for-profit social enterprise space, Brent was honored by Forbes as a "Name You Need to Know" in 2011.
That same year, he launched his "Mission Possible" which was a pilot program in East Los Angeles high schools that taught economically disadvantaged students to identify social issues in their communities and create for-profit business ideas around solving them. This program was adopted as the national curriculum for the Network For Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) and is now taught to over 50,000 kids worldwide each year, having impacted over 500,000 students over the years.
In 2014, Brent founded Stealth Venture Labs, a hybrid venture studio and cutting edge digital marketing agency. Stealth Venture Labs co-founded 10 subscription brands and generated over $1 billion in recurring revenue for its clients while catalyzing an additional $1 billion in M&A for its clients. Brands like Home Chef, Hello Fresh, MUD/WTR, Factor_75, Evite, and Crocs have all trusted Brent and his team with their growth marketing needs for over a decade.
Embracing remote work in 2015, well ahead of the curve, Brent pioneered a results-only, remote work environment that prioritized culture over profit and provided 100% health, vision, and dental coverage for employees and their dependents, as well as 16 weeks of 100% paid parental leave, unlimited PTO and a world class working environment. His focus on culture and joy in the workplace won him multiple awards, including being honored by INC in 2022 as one of the Best Workplaces in the United States.
In 2020, at the onset of the Pandemic, he helped co-found NonnaLive.com, a cooking experience where real Italian grandmothers teach participants to make pasta from scratch via Zoom and in person in their medieval village outside of Rome. For every class sold, a meal is donated to a family in need. NonnaLive has donated over 50,000 meals since its launch and has become the #1 Airbnb Experience in the world.
Brent has traveled the world with Tony Robbins, studied intensively under Dr. Joe Dispenza, has been mentored by Fortune 50 entrepreneurs and CEOs, been a member of Entrepreneur's Organization for 15 years and co-founded over 20 companies. He has dedicated his life to using business to create a positive social impact in the world and has been featured in Forbes, Inc, Entrepreneur, Today Show, NBC, ABC, and Huffington Post for his social enterprise accomplishments. In 2020, Brent was honored to be knighted by the former Royal Family of Italy, Casa di Savoia, for his life-long commitment to philanthropic causes for children.
In 2021, Brent formed his own 501c3 non-profit foundation, Stealth Impact Lab, with the mission of investing in education initiatives worldwide to create asymmetrical impact returns in emerging communities and countries. Some projects have included rehabilitating, revitalizing, and rebuilding a secondary school in Tanzania, Africa, funding solar power installation for a local farmer in Tanzania with an evergreen, microloan to help them break the cycle of poverty in their village and an online ecommerce program for economically disadvantaged kids in the United States to learn how to turn their ideas into real businesses.
In 2024, Brent left the day-to-day hustle of Stealth Venture Labs to pursue a life focused on creating, spreading, and investing in joy, believing that there is no dress rehearsal in life and that the journey is the destination. In this work with Alchemy of Joy, Brent is truly stepping into his life's calling.
He travels the world sharing the Alchemy of Joy through workshops, retreat facilitation, speaking engagements, and one-on-one coaching, helping people rediscover their true joy through the power of inspiration, neuroscience, and subconscious training.
Brent lives by the philosophy of making daily, intentional investments in joy, creating a profound "Return on Joy" that is more powerful and fulfilling than any check he's ever cashed. He plans to share this philosophy through a forthcoming book, Alchemy of Joy, in Spring of 2026.
Today, Brent resides full time in the beautiful and picturesque Lake Tahoe most of the year, Italy part time, and at the top of his own List of Joy is starting each morning by cuddling his 70lb lap dog named… Tahoe.
